Zillow Showcase costs the photographer’s time, not a separate fee on the media itself: the photos, floor plan and 3D tour are what you pay for. In Tampa Bay, our Standard package starts at $325 and includes everything Showcase media needs, including a Zillow 3D tour (choose it instead of the social media reel option), with photos back in 24 hours.

What Zillow Showcase actually is

Showcase is Zillow’s upgraded listing format. In its April 2024 press release, Zillow describes it as an immersive, AI-powered listing experience built around high-resolution photos, room-by-room organization, interactive floor plans and virtual tours. If you want the longer background, we covered it in what Zillow Showcase is and why Tampa agents want it.

The format only works if the media behind it is good. A listing can’t be made a Showcase listing until media that qualifies has been ordered and delivered.

Who pays for what

There are two possible costs, and agents often mix them up.

  • The Showcase product itself. Zillow’s Showcase Product Terms say pricing depends on the number of listings and markets. We don’t set or see that pricing, so ask your Zillow rep or your brokerage what applies to you.

  • The media. Zillow’s terms say the cost of Showcase listing media is not part of that subscription and is the agent’s responsibility. This is the part a photographer bills.

So when someone asks us what Zillow Showcase costs, the part we can speak to is the media. It is also the part you control.

Who can produce Showcase media

According to Zillow’s Showcase Getting Started Guide, you can book Zillow Media Experts, a photographer carrying the Showcase Select tag, or invite an independent photographer. An independent photographer has to accept your request and confirm they meet Zillow’s technical requirements for Showcase media. Zillow’s terms also say a Showcased listing must include the Zillow 3D Home interactive floor plan, even when you use an independent photographer.

That is the reason we shoot the 3D Home capture ourselves. Gator Gaze Media is Zillow Showcase approved, and the details of how we handle it are on our Zillow Showcase service page.

Prices step up with square footage. Standard covers up to 2,500 sq ft at $325, then rises $20 per 500 sq ft. Video and virtual services such as the 3D tour are delivered in 48 to 72 hours. The full grid is on our pricing page.

If you only need the 3D piece on top of a smaller package, the Zillow 3D tour is $150 for homes up to 2,500 sq ft and $175 above that. There is more on that in our 3D tour price breakdown.

Is it worth paying for?

Zillow’s own numbers are the best argument available, and they come with caveats. Its April 2024 press release says Showcase listings got 75% more page views and 68% more saves than similar nearby traditional listings, and were about 20% more likely to get an accepted offer within 14 days. Those are Zillow’s figures from its own markets, not ours, and a result on one listing isn’t guaranteed.

The practical math is simpler. The difference between Basic and Standard is $135 at the smallest size. For that you get the 3D tour Showcase needs, plus the touch-ups. Compared with the price of a listing sitting an extra week, we think that is easy to justify.

How to order

Tell us the address and square footage, and we will confirm the package and travel. The first 30 miles from South Tampa are free, then $15 per 10 miles on a round-trip basis. Book on the contact page or call (813) 415-6349. We are open 7 days a week, 9 AM to 7 PM.

Questions we get about Zillow Showcase cost

Does Zillow Showcase cost the agent anything?

Zillow prices the Showcase product by number of listings and markets, and says media is not included in that price. The photography, floor plan and 3D tour are billed separately by whoever produces them. Check with Zillow or your brokerage for your Showcase pricing.

How much is Zillow Showcase photography in Tampa?

Our Standard package starts at $325 for homes up to 2,500 sq ft and includes 45 photos, drone photos, a 2D floor plan and a Zillow 3D tour. Larger homes cost $20 more per additional 500 sq ft.

Can an independent photographer shoot Showcase media?

Per Zillow’s getting started guide, yes. The photographer accepts your invitation and verifies they meet the technical requirements, and the listing still needs the Zillow 3D Home interactive floor plan.

How fast do we deliver?

Photos arrive within 24 hours. The 3D tour, social media reel and other virtual services take 48 to 72 hours.

Is the Basic package enough for Showcase?

Basic does not include a Zillow 3D tour, so you would add one for $150 or $175 depending on size, or step up to Standard.
