Showcase replaces the standard photo gallery with a more immersive presentation. A Showcase listing typically features:

What Does Zillow Say About the Results?

In an April 2024 announcement, Zillow reported that Showcase listings received 75% more page views, 68% more saves and 75% more shares than similar nearby traditional listings, and were about 20% more likely to have an accepted offer within 14 days. Zillow also said they sold for about 2% more (Zillow press release, April 16, 2024).

These are Zillow’s comparisons of Showcase listings with similar listings, and they don’t isolate any single cause. Treat them as a reasonable indication, not a guarantee for your listing. Zillow updates the figures periodically, so check its current Showcase page before quoting numbers to a client.

How Does Zillow Showcase Work?

Not every photographer can deliver Showcase media. Zillow sets technical requirements and approves the photographers who produce it. The process looks like this:

1. The agent confirms with Zillow that the listing can use Showcase.

2. An approved photographer captures the property to Showcase specifications, including the floor plan with room-level photo linking.

3. The media is uploaded and processed on Zillow.

4. The listing goes live with the Showcase experience.

Why the Approved-Photographer Part Matters

The floor plan linking, camera angles and technical specs have to meet Zillow’s standards. If they don’t, the listing can’t use the Showcase format, even if the agent has the program.
