Gator Gaze Media is a real estate photographer based in South Tampa. Packages start at $190 for homes up to 1,500 sq ft and include interior and exterior photos, aerial drone photos, a 2D floor plan and a property website. Every package comes with a 24-hour turnaround, and most of Tampa sits inside our free travel radius.

We live and work here, so a Tampa booking is an ordinary day for us. One morning it is an older house in South Tampa, the next it is a new build in Carrollwood or a warehouse listing. Same standard each time: straight verticals, true colors, and a gallery in your inbox the next day.

How Tampa shoots actually differ from one side of town to the other

Tampa is not one market, and the photography changes with the neighborhood. A few patterns we plan around.

South Tampa and the bay side

Older homes with small rooms, big oak trees and mixed window light are the norm. Waterfront and near-water lots reward an aerial photo that shows where the house sits relative to the bay. Carrollwood, Westchase and the north side

Larger lots, screened pool enclosures and wooded or conservation backdrops. The drone earns its place here. On our Carrollwood Village home the aerial shot showed the cul-de-sac, the circular driveway and the green space behind the pool, three things a ground photo cannot combine. Westchase and New Tampa follow the same logic: show the lot, then the lanai.

Brandon, Riverview and Apollo Beach

Newer subdivisions where three-car garages, kitchens that open to the pool and big primary suites sell the house. Our Brandon project is a good example: stone accents out front, a pool behind, and a kitchen that opens straight to it. In Apollo Beach we added virtual twilight to the exterior of the Harbour Isles home so the front elevation did not read flat on a bright afternoon.

Downtown, Channelside and Ybor City

Condos and lofts are mostly an interior job: tight rooms, mixed light from big windows, and views that blow out if exposure is sloppy. A 2D floor plan helps a lot here because buyers want to understand a condo’s layout before they look at any photo.

Commercial and industrial

We also photograph warehouses, flex space and offices. The Class A warehouse project in Tampa was shot as a lease listing, with the exterior, a roll-up door, the high ceilings and the parking all covered. Commercial photos start at $500 for up to 3,000 sq ft, with a commercial usage license (see commercial photography).

Tampa packages and prices

Every package includes interior and exterior photos, aerial drone photos, a 2D floor plan, a property website, marketing content, the Blue Sky Guarantee on exteriors and 24-hour turnaround. Price steps up with square footage, $20 per extra 500 sq ft on Basic.

Matterport hosting: each Matterport tour is hosted for the first 6 months after delivery at no extra cost. To keep it online, hosting renews every 6 months at $75 per tour.

A typical 2,000 sq ft South Tampa bungalow is $215 on Basic. A 2,800 sq ft Carrollwood pool home is $375 on Standard. Full size brackets and add-ons are on the pricing page.

Choosing a package

Standard is the usual starting point for a Tampa listing, because the Zillow 3D tour or social media reel (your choice) and the virtual twilight image cover two things buyers look for. Higher-priced listings and anything near the water are worth moving up to Premium or Deluxe so the listing also has video. Basic is the right call for rentals, quick turns and smaller homes where a clean set of photos is all you need.

Real twilight photography (five photos) is $200 if you want the real thing at dusk, and virtual twilight is $15 per image when you want it on a specific frame. Virtual staging is $25 per image for vacant homes. See twilight photography and virtual staging for how each works.

3D tours, Zillow media and drone work

We are Zillow Showcase approved, so media from us is built to Zillow’s requirements, including the 3D tour and floor plan. Drone work is flown by FAA Part 107 certified pilots, and aerials are in every package at no extra charge. If you want drone alone, 10 photos are $125 and a drone photo and video package is $250. Across the bay and out to the beaches

Many Tampa clients also have listings or rentals on the other side of the water. We cover St. Petersburg and Clearwater for sales, and we photograph beach-town short-term rentals too, such as St. Pete Beach. Airbnb and VRBO photography is priced separately by size: $250 up to 1,000 sq ft, $300 up to 2,000, $400 up to 3,000, with an extended usage license for rental platforms. Travel and scheduling

Travel is calculated from South Tampa using round-trip distance. The first 30 miles are free, then it is $15 for every 10 miles, rounded down to the nearest 10. Central Tampa neighborhoods are comfortably inside the free range. For an address near the edge, such as parts of Brandon, Riverview or the Pasco County line, we confirm any fee when you book.

How much does a real estate photographer cost in Tampa?
