St. Pete Beach, FL
Gator Gaze Media photographs Airbnb and VRBO rentals in St. Pete Beach and Pass-a-Grille. Standalone rental photo sets start at $250 for homes up to 1,000 sq ft and $300 for 1,001 to 2,000 sq ft, with a 24-hour turnaround and a license that covers Airbnb, VRBO and similar booking platforms. Drone and twilight add-ons are available.

Two very different rental stocks on one island
St. Pete Beach sits on Long Key, the barrier island between the Gulf of Mexico and Boca Ciega Bay, and its rentals fall into two camps that need different photography. The first is the Gulf Boulevard strip: condo towers, resort-style buildings and townhomes where the selling point is a balcony, a pool deck or a view down the sand. The second is Pass-a-Grille at the south end, a National Register historic district of small, older beach houses and cottages, many on narrow lots a block or two from the water.
Most photographers treat those as the same job. They are not. A twelfth-floor condo is a window-exposure problem. A Pass-a-Grille cottage is a space and story problem. We plan the two differently, and we will ask you which one you have before we quote a time slot.
Shooting a Gulf Boulevard condo
The Gulf faces west, so a Gulf-facing balcony is in shade for the morning and gets direct sun later in the day. If your unit looks over the water, the best interior frames are usually mid-morning, when the room is evenly lit and the view outside is still readable instead of blown out. If the main draw is a sunset from the balcony, we can come back for a short evening pass or add real twilight photography ($200 for 5 photos).
Condos bring practical hurdles that single-family homes do not. Elevators, loading rules, guest parking and association quiet hours all affect the shoot. Tell us the building name and whether the front desk needs a heads-up, and we will arrive with the minimum of gear carried through the lobby. If you want exterior or aerial images of the building, check with your association first, because drone flights over a condo property may need their sign-off. Our drone work is flown by FAA Part 107 certified pilots, and a set of 10 drone photos is $125.
Shooting in Pass-a-Grille
Pass-a-Grille grew from simple frame houses built on piers in the early 1900s, and it was folded into St. Pete Beach in 1957. Plenty of what rents there today is still small by modern standards: two bedrooms, a screened porch, outdoor shower, a bike rack by the door. Small rooms photograph best when the furniture is pulled off the walls and the sightlines are clean, so we spend more of our time on room-by-room angles and less on drama.
The historic district also means character: older windows, wood trim, a screened porch that guests will actually live on. Those are the details that justify a nightly rate in this part of town, so we shoot the porch as its own frame, not as an afterthought to the living room. The Don CeSar, the pink 1928 hotel to the north, is a landmark you can mention in your listing description if you are close. We would not put it in a photo unless it is truly in your view.
What goes in the shot list
The entry or lobby approach, so guests know where to walk when they arrive.
Every bedroom with the bed made to hotel standard, plus a wide frame showing where the second bed or sleeper sofa fits.
The path from the unit to the sand, shot on foot if it is a short walk. Guests search for walking distance, and a photo is proof.
Outdoor shower, rinse station or beach-gear storage, since families look for it.
Kitchen and coffee setup, which tends to be the most-clicked interior frame on a rental.

Rental photo pricing for St. Pete Beach
Our Airbnb and VRBO photos are priced by interior size, and the set is curated to show atmosphere rather than every corner. If you need aerials, floor plans or video for a listing or an owner pitch, those are priced separately on our pricing page.

|---|---|
0 to 1,000 sq ft | $250 |
1,001 to 2,000 sq ft | $300 |

3,001 to 4,000 sq ft | $500 |
4,001 to 5,000 sq ft | $600 |
Over 5,000 sq ft, contact us for a quote. Travel is free for the first 30 miles and then $15 for every 10 miles beyond that, measured round trip from South Tampa and confirmed when you book. Details on the rental offer are on the Airbnb and VRBO photography page.
If you are selling or listing instead of renting
Some owners on the island are about to sell a property that has rental history. Our real estate packages start at $190 and include interior and exterior photos, drone photos, a floor plan and a property website. Our rental service and our real estate work are separate orders, so you can buy only the one you need.
You can see how we handle a Gulf-front rental on our real Indian Shores Airbnb shoot, which is about the same type of building you will find along Gulf Boulevard.
Neighboring beaches
If you own on more than one island, we shoot up and down the Gulf Beaches. Just north across Blind Pass is Treasure Island, and past that is Madeira Beach and John’s Pass. Property managers with several units can book them in one visit to keep the travel cost down.
Questions we get about St. Pete Beach rental photos
How much is an Airbnb photographer in St. Pete Beach?
Our Airbnb and VRBO sets start at $250 for up to 1,000 sq ft and $300 for 1,001 to 2,000 sq ft. Most Pass-a-Grille cottages fall in those two tiers. Drone photos, twilight images and social media reel are added on top when you want them.
Can you photograph a Pass-a-Grille cottage with a small footprint?
Yes. Small rooms are common there, and we shoot them with the furniture pulled in and the angles chosen so the room reads accurately. We also shoot porches and outdoor spaces as separate frames, because guests book them.
Do I need to be there?
Not necessarily. Many hosts and managers send us a lockbox code or meet us at the door for a few minutes. Have the unit cleaned and staged before we arrive, because we photograph what is in front of us.
How fast will I get the photos?
Standard turnaround is 24 hours. That lets you update your Airbnb or VRBO listing the next day without waiting a week for an edit.
Do you do drone shots of beachfront buildings?
Yes, with an FAA Part 107 certified pilot. A set of 10 drone photos is $125. For a condo building, check association rules and let us know about any restrictions before the shoot.
