One island, three city lines
The island is roughly seven miles long and split among three cities, and a rental in each one tends to need a slightly different shoot. We have separate pages for the two southern cities, since the housing stock and the light differ enough to deserve it.
Anna Maria (north end). Older cottages, bayside streets near the City Pier, and the quiet stretch out toward Bean Point. Many rentals here are small, low-slung houses where a single wide room has to carry the whole listing.

Two island rentals we have already shot
You can judge the work yourself. Our Anna Maria Airbnb home project covers a beach-themed house: a shiplap living room with blue sofas and a painted trunk for a coffee table, a breakfast tray staged on a bed, and a covered pool with string lights and a spa at dusk.
The Anna Maria Island STR project is a family-and-group house with a woven-pendant kitchen island, a coffee station, a surf-themed bunk room, a screened dining area and a private putting green. Small amenity shots like those are quick to capture while we are already inside, and they answer questions a guest would otherwise message you about.
We have also worked with vacation rental management companies on the island, including FIBI Vacation Rentals, which is named on one of the project pages. If you manage a handful of units, ask us about shooting them back to back on one trip.

Larger houses are listed on the pricing page. Travel is calculated from South Tampa on round-trip distance: the first 30 miles are free, then $15 for every 10 miles, rounded down to the nearest 10. The island sits well outside that free zone, so expect a travel line on the quote, which we confirm when you book.
Reading the island’s light
Anna Maria Island runs roughly northwest to southeast, with the Gulf of Mexico on its west side and Anna Maria Sound and the bay on the east. In practice that means sunsets belong to the Gulf side and early light belongs to the bay side. Gulf-front rentals usually get their exteriors in the afternoon, canal and bayside rentals in the morning, and a house in the middle of a block gets whichever hour the trees allow. We plan the order of rooms around it.
Booking around guest changeovers
An island rental is rarely empty for long, so scheduling is most of the job. Tell us your checkout and check-in times and we will aim for the gap, or for a block-out week. We do not need long: a single-house shoot is typically a morning or an afternoon. Look through our home prep guide before the day, and remember that anything you set out for guests, from beach towels to board games, is fair game for a detail shot.

Do you photograph Airbnb rentals in all three Anna Maria Island cities?
Yes. We shoot in Anna Maria, Holmes Beach and Bradenton Beach, and across Longboat Pass on Longboat Key. Pricing for the photos is the same in each city; only the travel line changes, and we confirm it when you book.
Can I use the photos on both Airbnb and VRBO?
Yes. The standalone rental photo sets include an extended usage license for short-term-rental platforms, so the same images can go on Airbnb, VRBO and your own booking site.
How fast will I get the photos back?
Our turnaround is 24 hours. If you are racing to open a calendar before a busy week, tell us when you book and we will plan around it.
Do I need a permit before listing my island home?
Rules differ by city and county, and we do not give legal advice on them. Check your city or county short-term-rental requirements before you publish a listing.
Can you add sunset or twilight photos?
Yes. Real twilight photography is $200 for five photos, and virtual twilight images are $15 each. Tell us when booking so we can plan to be on site at the right hour.
