The way we approach a Valrico shoot

Valrico sits just east of Brandon, with Lithia to the south and Dover to the north. It is mostly subdivisions of single-family homes, many with screened pools, and some lots that back up to ponds or lakes. Valrico Lake itself is a large private lake in the community, so a few properties have real water behind them.

We start every Valrico job the same way: we look at the lot on a satellite view before we arrive and decide where the drone should go. Water, trees and the shape of the backyard usually decide the best three exterior photos before we ever pick up a camera.

Communities around Valrico we get asked about

  • Bloomingdale. A large collection of sub-neighborhoods built around lakes and parks, along the Valrico and Brandon border. Many homes are from the late 1990s and early 2000s, so interiors benefit from careful color handling and tidy staging.

  • Along Lithia Pinecrest Road. A corridor that connects Valrico to the Lithia area and FishHawk Ranch. Newer homes here are bright and open, with plenty of garage and covered-lanai space to photograph.

  • Lakefront and pond lots. Wherever there is water behind the house, a drone photo or a twilight image helps the listing carry the setting, not just the room.

We also photographed a home in the neighboring FishHawk area, which you can see in our FishHawk Trails estate project.

What to book for a Valrico listing

For most Valrico homes the question is Basic or Standard, and square footage sets the final price. Here is how we would decide.

  1. If it is a quick turn or a rental, Basic ($190 for up to 1,500 sq ft, $215 up to 2,000, $240 up to 2,500) is enough.

  2. If the pool or the water is the selling point, Standard ($325 from 0 to 2,500 sq ft) adds a virtual twilight image and a Zillow 3D Virtual Tour or social media reel (your choice).

  3. If you want a video for social, Premium ($495 from 0 to 3,000 sq ft) adds a vertical walkthrough.

  4. For a higher-end home, Deluxe ($750 from 0 to 3,500 sq ft) includes cinematic video and a Zillow or Matterport 3D tour.

Matterport hosting: each Matterport tour is hosted for the first 6 months after delivery at no extra cost. To keep it online, hosting renews every 6 months at $75 per tour.

Compare brackets on the pricing page. The aerial photo and video service can also be booked alone: 10 drone photos are $125.

Builders, owners and agents: who books us in Valrico

Agents book us most, usually the day before a listing goes live. Builders ask for a consistent set across several homes, so we keep the same angles and the same editing from one house to the next. Homeowners selling on their own tend to want the floor plan and the property website, because those two pieces give a for-sale-by-owner listing the same polish an agent’s would have.

If the house is empty, a few staged images help buyers read the rooms. Staging is $25 per image, and our virtual staging page shows how it works. Touch-ups and item removal, such as a hose, a trash can or a car in the driveway, are $20.

Twilight, video and the extras that suit Valrico

Many Valrico homes face tree-lined streets, and a front elevation at midday can look flat. A virtual twilight image fixes that for $15, and it is included once in Standard. If you want the real thing, we shoot twilight on site for $200 for five photos, timed to when the sky and the house lights balance. See twilight photography for examples.

Booking and travel

Travel is calculated from South Tampa using round-trip distance, with the first 30 miles free and $15 for every 10 miles after that, rounded down to the nearest 10. We confirm the number when you book rather than guessing, so you will see it before anything is scheduled.

Valrico and Brandon are close enough that two listings can share a morning. If your other property is in the city, we cover Tampa too.

Valrico questions

Who is the best real estate photographer in Valrico?

We would rather you judge for yourself. Look through our reviews and project galleries, then compare packages. Ours start at $190 and include drone photos, a floor plan and a property website.

Do you serve FishHawk Ranch and Lithia from Valrico?

Yes. FishHawk and Lithia are in the same part of Hillsborough County, so we often schedule them together with Valrico jobs. Travel is added by the standard formula.

Can you photograph a lakefront home in Valrico?

Yes. For waterfront, we recommend a drone view and, if the budget allows, twilight. Real twilight photography is $200 for five photos, and virtual twilight is $15 per image.

Do you do video for Valrico listings?

Yes. A social media reel is $175, a cinematic video is $350, and drone video up to a minute is $150. See our videography service.

How do I prepare my Valrico home?

Our home prep guide lists what to move, switch on and clear before we arrive. Outside, mowing and clearing the driveway make the biggest difference.
